⚡️ High Specific Activity Radiochemistry & SSTR2 Targeting
Bexlutry pairs high specific activity, no-carrier-added Lutetium-177 with edotreotide, an engineered synthetic peptide vector with high affinity for somatostatin SSTR2 receptors overexpressed on neuroendocrine tumors.
Upon receptor internalization, 177Lu emits localized beta particles with a mean tissue penetration of only 1.8 mm, inflicting lethal DNA double-strand breaks in malignant cells while sparing healthy adjacent organs. Renal clearance was accelerated by 45%.
